Apache HttpClient (4.1 und neuer): Wie wird die Basisauthentifizierung durchgeführt?

Wie füge ich die Standardauthentifizierung für den Standardclient der httpClient-Bibliothek hinzu? Ich habe Beispiele gesehen, in denen client.getCredentialProvider() verwendet wird. Ich denke jedoch, dass alle diese Methoden für die Bibliotheksversion 4.0.1 oder 3.x gelten. Gibt es ein neues Beispiel dafür? Danke vielmals.

DefaultHttpClient hat getCredentialsProvider (), HttpClient jedoch nicht. Sie müssen DefaultHttpClient client = ... anstelle von HttpClient client = ... deklarieren.

Ich musste eine URL mit Standardauthentifizierung aufrufen, für die auch Proxyeinstellungen erforderlich waren. Das hat bei mir funktioniert.
